Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus' - Feather Grass

Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus' is an ornamental grass with fine, arching foliage forming a dense clump. In autumn, its leaves turn warm shades, and from September to October, silvery plumes rise above the foliage. The plant grows approximately 120 to 150 cm tall, reaching up to 180 cm when flowering. It prefers a sunny location with fertile, well-drained soil and is very hardy against cold temperatures. Low maintenance, it should be cut back in early spring to encourage new growth. Ideal as a solitary plant, in groups or as a natural screen, it brings lightness and movement to any garden.
