Edging

Edging cleanly marks the line between a lawn, a path or a flower bed, and stops soil or grass from creeping into the other. Depending on the material — wood, metal, reconstituted stone — it needs more or less upkeep, but all of it makes mowing and trimming edges noticeably easier by removing the need to hand-cut the border.
