Plants for full sun

Full-sun plants need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day to flower and grow normally — any less, and many become leggy or barely flower. In return, once established they tolerate drought better and often need less upkeep than a shade plant on soil that heats up and dries out quickly in summer.
